Replacement Air Filters for Projectors

Replacement air filters are detrimental to the life of your lamp and the performance of your projector. Think home HVAC. How would your home heating or cooling operate if you never replaced the filter? Projectors need this maintenance as well.

Filters should be cleaned every 3-6 months and replaced with each bulb replacement for peak performance as well as lamp and projector lifespan.

A projectors main function is to project the image you desire, its secondary function is to keep that lamp cool! In the process they act like an environmental vacuum pulling in the air to pass it along the bulb to keep it cool. These filters quickly fill up and in turn they are passing less and less air and the bulb is allowed to run at higher temperatures. This can lead to premature bulb failure and other issues.
