The lamp may be out on my JVC DLA-X3 projector. However, before I order one from this site can you tell me if there's a way to confirm this is the problem? Also, is there any kind of return policy if I put in the new bulb and discover that the lamp was not the issue? Thanks.

We will need to know some basic detail. First, upon inspecting your current lamp; is it visably defective? (Shattered filament, blackened filament, fogged filament or lens, bubbled filament, or otherwise visably defected?) If it is not visably defective, please install the lamp fully and securely. Please secure the lamp door completely. Please plug in and power on the projector. While it is attempting to startup, pay close attention to the LED lights on the body of the projector. Are any of them lit up? What color are they? Are they blinking or solid? When the projector stops attempting to turn on, please record the LED status now as well.
