I've been purchasing replacement lamps with housings and none of the housings fit. I always have to use the original housing and solder connections to the new lamp (that means removing both lamps first). How confident are you that your housing will fit my TV? Thank you

Well, we do sell a few hundred of these particular lamps, with housing per month, and have moved over 15k units since we began carrying them.

We have had less than a dozen total 'fit' issues in that time span.

Personally, I was a service technician before taking this position. I have installed dozens of them as well as for many other TVs. One issue that I know is present - warping from overheating. The cavity and housing may have warped together slightly over time making any other new housing a hard fit. Something else I know is commonplace - connector misalignment. The receiving connector and the connector on the housing are allowed to move slightly, if they are not perfectly aligned the connectors will butt up against eachother, not allowing it to properly fit. If this is the issue moving the connectors before install may help.
